Miami Dolphins runningback Reggie Bush will be one of the most sought-after free agents this offseason, and it just so happens he plays a position the Bengals are in desperate need of. While BenJarvus Green-Ellis did rush for over 1,000 yards in 2012, the Bengals could never find an adequate backup for Ellis, who is a one-dimensional power back, and doesn’t provide Andy Dalton with a legitimate pass-catching threat out of the backfield.

Bush would fit that role perfectly, and he’ll likely be available this offseason according to Jason LaCanfora:

Reggie Bush’s ability to make explosive plays and contribute on special teams will lead to a nice market forming for him, I’m sure, and it’s highly unlikely he stays with Miami, sources said.

Amen to the opening of your bio my brother. Now, back to business.
I would hate to see Bush go, but he has been doing an awefull lot of dancing in the backfield and chances are that when he does that, he gets caught behind the line for a loss way too often. Occasionally, and often, as a result of his dancing with the backfield stars tv show, he tries going outside, where he’s often also tackled for a loss or no gain. These tendencies either have not been addressed by the coaches or ignored by Bush, who is no prima donna and has excellent work ethics by all accounts, but for some reason and in spite of our line being inconsistent, has not done his part and failed to realize just how successesfull he has been and can continue to be when he goes full speed from hand off to whistle. No changes in this area and he may as well be gone…. will miss you but so be it.
