The Philadelphia Eagles have finally found a defensive coordinator to go with new head coach Chip Kelly, and it’s Browns linebackers coach Billy Davis, who has served as defensive coordinator for both the San Fransisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals over his career.
Davis also has spent time with the Steelers, Panthers, Packers, Falcons and Giants. He’s been ragrded as one of the better linebacker coaches in the NFL. Davis’ background has been with 3-4 systems, meaning the Eagles will likely become the latest team to switch from the 4-3 to the 3-4.
