Finally get to our 2nd pick in the second round. Jonathan Cyprien is still on the board, I have him in my top 25 players overall, getting him here is a tremendous value. Bengal fans are going to love his playing style and playmaking skills. The 6-1 205 pound senior came into the Senior Bowl and wowed scouts with his physique and play on the field, as told by Dane Brugler from cbssports.com.

Cyprien is a rangy, hard hitting safety out FIU. He has an amazing nose for the football with the ability to recognize, read and react instantaneously to the ball carrier or receiver. Cyprien is also solid in coverage, I saw on tape him being used to cover tight ends and slot receivers in the end zone, which is a rare and valuable skill. The addition of Cyprien, will free up Reggie Nelson to do what he does best; getting down in the box and helping out in the run game, and blitzing the QB. So with the 53rd pick of the draft, I took Cyprien to solidify a huge need in our backfield.
