In that same article, LaCanfora reports the Baltimore Ravens are likely to let free agent linebacker Paul Kruger and cornerback Cary Williams leave via free agency while they attempt to re-sign quarterback Joe Flacco, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe and safety Ed Reed. Kruger is likely to command a large contract after having nine sacks in the regular season and 4.5 sacks in the postseason.

If Kruger does leave, the Ravens would seem to be content to plug 2012 rookie linebacker Courtney Upshaw into his position. Upshaw recorded only 1.5 sacks on the year, but did have 60 tackles, which was more than Kruger’s 42.
