It’s still unclear what the team plans to do regarding free agents Chris Crocker and Nate Clements. The good news is NFL analyst Mike Mayock is calling this year’s group of safety prospects “one of the best safety classes in years.”
He too believes Texas’ Kenny Vaccaro is a perfect fit for the Bengals:
Mayock: “I would love to see Kenny Vaccaro in Cincinnati. He really fits what Mike Zimmer does.”

It will be tough to get him though, as his stock is rising as much as any prospect, leading some analysts to believe he’ll be a top-10 selection by he time the draft is here. Still, with other prospects like Johnathan Cypriean and Eric Reid, there will be plenty of safeties for the Bengals to grab in the draft.
