Danica Patrick and Jeff Gordon will lead the field to the green flag for the NASCAR season-opening Daytona 500 today. It’s the 55th running of NASCAR’s version of the Super Bowl.  Patrick and Gordon secured their front-row starting spots through qualifying on February 17th. The race will begin at 1 p.m. eastern time on FOX.
