Now that the Kansas City Chiefs have their quarterback in Alex Smith, their focus in the draft will likely be on Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel. With Brandon albert set to depart via free agency, Joeckel is the heavy-favorite to go #1-overall unless the Chiefs find a quality OT elsewhere.

NFL.com’s Gil Brandt writes Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones hurt his stock by not performing at this weekend’s NFL Scouting Combine, and has him falling to the Green Bay Packers at pick #26 as a result. With reports coming out last week that several NFL teams had already “Red-flagged” Jones for his spinal stenosis condition, it wouldn’t be a shocker to see Jones fall towards the end of the first-round after being a consensus top-5 pick for much of the college football season.

Despite a disastrous combine performance, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Notre Dame middle linebacker Manti Te’o will not make it out of the first-round.

UNC guard Johnathan Cooper was one of the biggest performers of the combine this week, and is already seeing his stock rise as much as any prospect. Former NFL scout Bryan Broaddus now ranks Cooper  ahead of Alabama’s Chance Warmack.
