AFC North: Ravens Expect Sack Leader Paul Kruger to Walk

The Baltimore Ravens will be severely handicapped this offseason when it comes to re-signing their free agents after signing Joe Flacco to a massive deal, and the team doesn’t expect to re-sign free agent linebacker Paul Kruger.  He finished the season with 13 and a half sacks (including four in the playoffs) and showed that he can be a premier pass rusher in the NFL at just 26 years-old.

With Ray Lewis retiring and Ed Reed near the end of the road, how could the Ravens let one of their best defensive players walk? If Yahoo Sports’ Jason Cole’s report is accurate, it’s easy to see why that’s the case:

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison’s agent confirms the sides are exploring ways to reduce Harrison’s $10.035 million cap number for 2013.

Cleveland Browns Vice President of Player Personnel Michael Lombardi’s title has been changed to General Manager.
