NFL Draft News: Tank Carradine Recovering Well, and Andre Ellington Hurt Again

After tearing his right ACL in November, Florida State defensive end Cornelius “Tank” Carradine is on-schedule in his recovery and hopes to work out for teams before April’s NFL Draft.

I’ve actually been doing a little bit of running. I’m a month ahead of schedule, rehabbing five days a week, two times a day.

Clemson runningback Andre Ellington will hold his own Pro Day on March 29th after straining his hamstring running the forty-yard dash at the Combine, causing him to sit out during Thursday’s Clemson Pro Day. Ellington is regarded as one of the top RB prospects this year, but injury concerns in college have scouts weary about his durability, especially once he;s in the NFL.

Speaking of playing with pain, TCU receiver Josh Boyce participated in the NFL Combine while suffering from a broken pinkie toe. He ranked among the best in receiver workout in 40-yard dash (4.38 seconds), three-cone drill (6.68), long shuttle (11.26), bench press (22 reps) and broad jump (10’11). Boyce has since had surgery, and the rehabilitation is expected to take six-to-12 weeks.
