Bengals Free Agency: Weekend Recap

The Cincinnati Bengals had a busy weekend in free agency, though it was all in-house as they look to retain the core of a squad that’s been made back-to-back playoff appearances. Yesterday, they  signed kicker Mike Nugent to a two-year deal, and a few hours later, they agreed to a three-year deal for $6.75 million with defnsive end Wallace Gilberry.

On Friday, a pair of five-year deals came for punter Kevin Huber and long snapper Clark Harris.

Thursday saw the Bengals reach a new deal with backup runningback Cedric Peerman, and tender three of their restricted free agents in Andrew Hawkins, Jeremy miles, and Vincent Rey.

Remaining Bengals Free Agents: OT Andre Smith, CB Nate Clements, S Chris Crocker, DE Robert Geathers,  QB Bruce Gradkowski, OLB Thomas Howard, CB/PR Adam Jones, OLB Manny Lawson, FB Brian Leonard, MLB Rey Maualuga, CB Terence Newman, RB Bernard Scott, DT Pat Sims, KR/WR Brandon Tate
