The Atlanta Falcons have reached a deal with the top running back on the market:

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed safety Kenny Phillips and cornerback Cary Williams.

Quarterback Chase Daniel has agreed to a three-year, $10 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Free agent cornerback Sean Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to a three-year deal. Widely regarded as one of the top free agent defensive backs of the 2012 offseason, Smith had two interceptions, three forced fumbles, and 12 passes defended last year.

Ed Reed is now visiting with the Houston Texans, and the interest between both sides is mutual:

It’s mutual. Both of us are contenders and want to get a championship, but we still have some things to work out. Conversations have been great, amazing. We’re on the same page as far as what we need to get done.

Defensive end Michael Bennett is now arguably the best defender left on the market, and PFT reports he’ll be visiting the Miami Dolphins today.

After a disastrous 2-year stint with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is ready for a new beginning with the Denver Broncos.

The new England Patriots deal with free agent receiver Danny Amendola was signed before Wes Welker went to Denver.
