The Bengals continue to be silent in free agency, as runningback Mike Goodson has opted to sign with the New York Jets:

 

 

 

I will that 3-years and nearly $7 million is a lot to commit to a backup RB who missed four games last season due to a high ankle sprain against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Goodson is an explosive player, who has only disappointed coaches with his inability to hold onto the football. The former fourth-round pick of the Carolina Panthers was traded to the Raiders last year for Bruce Campbell.
