The Cincinnati Bengals and defensive end Michael Johnson have agreed to his one-year, $11.2 million contract as a result of being hit with the franchise tag:



Day 4 of NFL free agency is here, and a quality backup quarterback is now on the market,as the Arizona Cardinals have released Kevin Kolb. The New York Jets are already rumored to be targeting him as a potential starter, as he would battle the incumbent Mark Sanchez and the oft-injured David Garrard for the Jets starting-QB role.


Speaking of the Jets, the Miami Dolphins signed former Jets tight End Dustin Keller to a one-year deal.
