The New York Giants have signed tight end Brandon Myers, formerly of the Oakland Raiders:

 

The Denver Broncos are ready to move on from DE Elvis Dumervil just a day after they thought they were keeping him:

 

FOXSports.com’s Alex Marvez reports the Cleveland Browns hosted free-agent cornerback Brent Grimes this week. The former Atlanta Falcons cornerback missed last season with a torn Achilles’ tendon, but made 28 starts for Atlanta over the prior two seasons.

UPDATE 5:10 PM   It’s now official: The New England Patriots have released receiver Brandon Lloyd: 

  No doubt, he’s the best free agent receiver on the market now, and should be signed fairly quickly one he starts taking visits:

 

After yesterday’s contract debacle, free agent Elvis Dumervil has fired his agent, and is now being targeted by the Baltimore Ravens:
