Free agent defensive end Elvis Dumervil fired agent Marty Magid on Saturday after a muddled exchange of contract documents on Friday led to the Denver Broncos releasing him, and he’s now hired Tom Condon & Ben Dogra to represent him. That’s significant news to the Cincinnati Bengals, who are still hoping to re-sign Andre Smith, who is also represented by Dogra and Condon, and this could slow any talks between the Bengals and Smith.
As for where Dumervil will sign, the Baltimore Ravnes were one of the first teams to reportedly show interest in the Pro Bowl pass-rusher.
Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun is now reporting that the Ravens may not be the only AFC north team to pursue Dumervil’s services:
Besides Ravens, another team to keep an eye on with Elvis Dumervil: the Pittsburgh Steelers
