Sadly, all I can tell fellow Bengals fans is that apparently Ted Ginn Jr.’s visit to Cincinnati went well enough for he and the Bengals to start talking.

Talking. Again, that’s great. Ever heard of the saying, “A contract is worth a thousand words?” No? That’s because I made it up. But it’s something that someone ought to mention to Mike Brown. I could be mistaken, but I do believe he may have forgotten he’s supposed to be running an NFL team.

We have money. We have a lot of money. We need to use it.

Great article. Brown is an incompetent cheapskate who thinks being average is a-ok. His idea of being aggressive in free agency is having a couple of players visit and putting them up at the Motel 6. The good teams not only draft well, they keep their good players and sign quality free agents to fill the gaps. Can’t Marvin do anything about this? This is pathetic.

Have you ever heard the saying “No news is good news” Why everyone has such a problem with the Bengals not jumping to sign a bunch of free agents is beyond me.In the recent years we have used the draft. We have not lost any players of utmost importance this yr.All the cap space we have left will be going to rookies this yr a couple unsigned free agents of our own,and AJ,Geno and Carlos for next year.If everybody should be whining about anything it should be we aren’t looking for Dalton’s replacement fast enough.17-15 isnt admirable for a players first 2 years but being the fact only one of those 17 wins was against a team with a winning record has future choke artist written all over it to me.And besides 6 or 8 weeks after the season starts we will all be laughing about all the money Miami forked out and what little return they are getting for it.Oh and by the way here is another FA fact for ya.Peyton Manning 20 mil yr 0-1 in playoffs as a Bronco.Tim Tebow 1.1 mil yr 1-1 in playoffs as a Bronco.

Don’t they have to spend most of the cap space?

  • Kevin Sullivan

You won’t have a problem with this years FA when they are re signing Geno AJ. And andy next year. Calm down and be patient.

  • James Combs

hey the bengals do this every year, they want to keep the money in pocket then spend it on players,as long as they get asses in the seats, and contracts that pay mr. brown thats all he cares about,he dont want to win a championship by forking out high dollars to players thats why thier the welfare team of the nfl.

  • Josh Bresser

I wish Mike Brown would take a vacation from owning the Bengals…a permanent one.
