Denver Broncos Executive Vice President John Elway has stated the team is still working to re-sign free agent defensive end Elvis Dumervil after last week’s contract/agent gaffe:

We’ve offered Elvis a contract. We’d like to have Elvis back. We’d like to get it done as soon as possible, but I’m sure Elvis wants to see what else is out there.

Elway also added that the Broncos have no interest in trading for New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis.

The Oakland Raiders have granted linebacker Rolando McClain’s agent permission to facilitate a trade out of Oakland.

Free agent receiver/returner Josh Cribbs failed his physical with the Arizona Cardinals, and now the future of his NFL career is now unknown.

Jacksonville Jaguars General Manager David Caldwell said he wouldn’t close the door on re-signing free agent linebacker Daryl Smith, who is one of the top free agent LBS on the market right now, but hasn’t been able to generate the interest most expected he would.
