NFL Films Interviews Bengals’ Geno Atkins

Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins has enjoyed quite a rise from being a fourth-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, to now being  named All-Pro and regarded as one of, if not the best DT in the entire NFL. His 20 sacks over the past two seasons are the most by any active DT, and his abilities as a interior pass-rusher have led to comparisons of hall-of-famer John Randle. He’s led the Bengals to back-to-back playoffs for the first time in three decades, and he’ll continue to be the centerpiece of a team expected to compete for the AFC North and eventually make a deep postseason run.

Atkins recently took time to do an interview with NFL Films, in which he talked about the secrets to being a great pass-rusher, his father, Gene, played in the NFL for 10 seasons with the Saints and Dolphin, and of course, who has a better hairstyle: Rey Maualuga or Domata Peko.
