Reader’s NFL Mock Draft: Kansas City Chiefs Are On the Clock

We’re just over a month away from the NFL draft and Free Agency has slowed down to a simmer.  I’m pleased to announce the debut of the Stripe Hype Reader’s Mock Draft, where you become the experts.  Here’s how it works.  Every day, I’ll do a little profile on two NFL teams on the clock and put a poll at the end of the post.  You vote for which player you think the team will chose and so on and so on. One poll goes up in the morning, and once the vote closes for that one, the next poll we be put up for the next team.

First up, the Kansas City Chiefs. They brought in former Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid to resurrect the once proud franchise.  Then they pulled off a trade to acquire quarterback Alex Smith from the San Francisco 49ers.  They managed to re-sign wide receiver Dwayne Bowe and applied the franchise tag to left tackle Brandon Albert  but opted to release right tackle Eric Winston, and may be angling Albert as trade bait, meaning offensive tackle will likely be their first selection.

Who should the Chiefs select with the #1 pick in the 2013 draft?
