ESPN NFL Draft Analyst Todd McShay appeared on the SVP & Russillo radio show Monday, and claimed that he’s “hearing from people” Florida State quarterback E.J. Manuel could be drafted as early as the middle of the first round.

This falls in line with what Manuel said in an interview last week claiming that he’s got a great chance to be drafted in the first-round:

I think I have a really good chance to go in the first round of the draft. If a team wants to take a shot on me — and I think they should, they’ll get a great quarterback — somebody who is really going to help their franchise.
