The Cincinnati Bengals with their bright orange jerseys and notorious black stripes took home the gold medal by a long-shot in this competition, as fans from all over the nation fell in love with the fierce look of the Bengal tiger.
“The mix of orange and tiger stripes makes for a bold combination. When the team takes the field, their uniforms make a statement,” said Charlie Anderson, who listed Cincinnati as her favorite uniform in the NFL.
The other favorites farther down the list were the Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, and Denver Broncos.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans didn’t get too much love in the poll.
But there you have it. Of course, this may mean nothing. I might have found a good deal more people were attracted to Dallas’s uniform if I hopped on a plane and landed in Texas tomorrow with the same survey. Even then, it would probably depend on where in Texas that I landed.
It boils down to the fact that the objective question requires a subjective answer. And in a sporting world full of statistics, isn’t it nice to have an argument so reliant on fans’ perspective?
