The New Orleans Saints fell apart in 2012 without head coach Sean Payton, and will be looking to rise back into Super Bowl contention in 2013 with his return. The majority of their problems were due to a defense that was ranked last in the NFL in 2012 run defense, giving up 5.2 yards per attempt and a whopping 2,361 yards on the ground. They also allowed 7,042 yards in 2012, which broke the Baltimore Colts’ 31-year-old record of 6,793 yards in a single season.

Needless to say, they’ll be ready to take the best available defensive player on the board at pick #15.

Who should the 49ers select with the #31 pick in the 2013 draft?
