The draft is inching closer and closer, yet the Bengals have yet to address the gaping hole that lies in their defensive backfield at safety. They’ve gotten an up-close look at nearly every safety prospect other than Florida International’s Jonathan Cyprien, but that will change soon:

Over the past two seasons, Cyprien led the FIU Panthers with 194 stops, 8 tackles-for-loss, 14 pass breakups and 4 interceptions. He projects as a strong safety at the NFL level. He’s projected to go anywhere between the middle of the if the first-round to the early second-round.
