The most interesting story of the 2013 NFL Draft may just by Ezekiel “Ziggy” Ansah. The 6’5″, 271-pound native of Accra, Ghana, has played defensive end for BYU for the past three seasons, but those are his only years playing football.  Ansah was born and raised in Accra, Ghana, and never played football before coming to the United States.

We he did come to America and enroll at BYU, he ran for the track team. After running track for the Cougars in 2008 and 2009, Ansah decided to walk on the football team in 2010.

This comes after registered 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup during the Senior Bowl.
