The Cincinnati Bengals have just announced three players have been signed to contracts, while one player has been waived:
We announce the following roster moves: Signed LB Sean Porter, RB Rex Burkhead, DT Terrence Stephens; Waived DT Travis Chappelear. #Bengals

Porter is almost a lock to make the roster after being drafted in the fourth-round, while Burkhead has more of challenge ahead of him after falling to the sixth-round, and the Bengals already have 4 backs signed, not including 2nd-rounder Giovani Bernard.
Stephens, who went undrafted last month, but was offered a tryout oppurtunity this weekend, and earned an invite to training camp. The 6’2″ 305 lb lineman has been one of Stanford’s most vocal leaders. He was primarily used in Stanford’s run package as a run-suffer (think Pat Sims), often clogging the middle to free up teammates to make the play.
In 2011 at NCAA-II Northwest Missouri State, Chappelear registered 17 tackles and 1.5 sacks, playing in nine games for the Bearcats. This past season, Chappelear racked up 63 tackles total (8 for a loss), 1.5 sacks and 2 blocked kicks on field goal duties.
