“We are aware of the situation regarding Mike Adams being stabbed earlier this morning,” Steelers GM Kevin Colbert said in a statement released by the team Saturday morning. “We are in direct communication with both Mike and his family. Mike is expected to make a full recovery.”
Adams was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round (56th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft after a solid career at the University of Ohio State, where he appeared in 30 games during his four-year career while starting 25 games, including his last 21.
Last year with the Steelers, he appeared in 10 games, making six starts.
