E3 Kickoff: Madden 25 to be on Full Display with New Features Revealed

With E3 set to kickoff today, the public will be getting it’s first extensive look at the latest addition to the John Madden football franchise. In celebration of it’s 25th anniversary, it will be titled Madden 25 this year, and is set to release in late August prior to the start of the 2013 NFL season.

Executive Vice President and Head of EA SPORTS Andrew Wilson expressed his excitement for the latest installment of Madden in this statement

Through years of investment and innovation, we have built technology across EA SPORTS to create a game engine that will deliver stunning accuracy, realism and experiences that we previously could only dream about. With EA SPORTS IGNITE and the power of next generation consoles, our games will come alive—with more authenticity, more emotion, more connectivity, and more fun.

While many of MAdden 25′s features have already been revealed, there seems to be at least one surprise in the works that will be unveiled today:

EA Sports has also confirmed that Madden 25 will be coming to the new Xbox One console.
