Former Cincinnati Bengals practice squad receiver Justin Hilton is back with an NFL team after the Tennessee Titans signed him to a contract today:
Axios Sports is proud to announce that Justin Hilton has signed with the Tennessee Titans!!!
— Justin Hilton (@JustinHilton15) July 30, 2013
Hilton was an undrafted receiver out of Indiana State. As a senior, Hilton led Indiana State in catches with 32, and receiving yards with 540, as well as hauling in 4 TDs. In his two years at ISU, he generated 72 receptions for 1,224 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns.
The Bengals showed early interest in Hilton, as they had him in for a pre-draft workout prior to the 2012 NFL Draft. After going undrafted, he immediately signed a contract with the Bengals, and managed to make in onto the practice squad this offseason, but was waived in May.
He also had a brief stint this summer with the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League.
It’s good to see Hitlon get another shot at his NFL dreams. The bengals wil lactually get to see him in Week 2 of the preseason when the Titans come to PBS.
