Cincinnati Bengals backup running back and special teams extraordinaire Cedric Peerman is making his first training camp appearance today after the team activated him off the Non-Football Injury list:

Receiver Andrew Hawkins suffered a high-ankle sprain during practice on Thursday. It’s an injury that shouldn’t keep him out for more than two weeks, according to Marvin Lewis, but Hawkins was seen on crutches today while wearing a protective boot. It’s possible the injury is more serious than the Bengals are letting on, so this is definitely something to watch for the rest of the preseason, at least until he practices fully again.

Receiver A.J. Green injured his knee in practice on July 25 and still hasn’t practiced since. He will miss the Bengals August 8 preseason opener against the Atlanta Falcons. Green won’t even be making the trip to Atlanta next week.
