ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that Green Bay that Packers offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga has suffered a a torn ACL in his knee. Bulaga was reportedly hurt at some point during the intra-squad scrimmage Saturday night at Lambeau Field.
Bulaga reported a problem with one of his knees while in the locker room and received treatment on Sunday, which prompted the medical staff to run tests to determine the extent of the damage.
The Packers had concern that the injury was a torn ligament and would turn out to be season-ending, and it appears their worst fears have been realized.
Green Bay is desperately trying to improve an offensive line that allowed 51 sacks of All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers in 2012, and that task just got significantly harder.
