Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said in a pre-practice news conference today that any injured player set to return in Saturday’s game against the Tennessee Titans is going to practice today.
That may mean that A.J. Green will make his return after a 2-week absence to recover from a bone bruise suffered on the first day of training camp, and so far so good on the practice field:
AJ Green back on the #Bengals practice field for first time since he bruised his knee two weeks ago. Primarily individual drills.

Green finished this past season with 97 receptions for 1,350 yards and 11 touchdowns and made the Pro Bowl for the second time in just his second season while also being named to the NFL All-Pro team.
The former Georgia Bulldog has established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and the Bengals will need him healthy and on the field if they ever want to accomplish their goals and make a run in the playoffs this year.
