4. Marvin Jones

Another player on the list from last week? Well, Jones was hurt and didn’t play, so this one should get a pass. Jones has been given plenty of hype throughout camp, so tonight is the perfect opportunity for us to see it. With AJ Green saying he is most likely not going to play, this gives Jones an opportunity to start brewing a chemistry withDalton. It’s going to be interesting to see how Jones plays, because by all reports from camp, it seems as if he has improved the most on the Bengals team. Now it’s time to see if he can match this hype with his play.

5. Josh Johnson

Johnson had a tremendous and surprising game last week. No doubt he had a good game, but some people have even gone too far to say he could be the starter this season. While Johnson had a good game, he’s not even the clear-cut #2 QB on this team. One thing he has struggled with throughout his career is consistency, showing flashes but then the sparks fade away quickly. Johnson has to show that he can be consistent and be counted on if (knock on wood)Daltongoes down. Johnson and Skelton are still competing and it’s still pretty close. Tonight, watch to see if Johnson can be accurate as a passer, something he needs to be consistent with.
