Bengals Escape Second Preseason Game without Major Injury

There was some unfortunate news regarding the status of rookie linebacker Sean Porter.

Prior to last night’s contest, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com was reporting Porter may have suffered a “significant injury” to his shoulder, “but it’s not clear how significant.”

It was revealed during the broadcast last night that Porter had suffered a tear in the labrum of his shoulder, and the team was still in the process of determining how severe the tear was, and would it warrant placing him on the inured reserve list.
