Bengals' Talent Floods ESPN's Top 100 Players List

The NFL Network’s top 100 players list was released a few months ago. The list included just two Bengals players on the roster, including A.J. Green at No. 16 and Geno Atkins at No. 36.

Now, ESPN is doing their version of a top 100 list, one that doesn’t involve voting by the players.

It’s also paying Cincinnati a bit more notice in their rankings.

ESPN has only gotten through the first half of their list (51-100), yet several names from the Bengals roster are already appearing from both sides of the ball.

Andrew Whitworth holds down the offensive front for the Bengals, grabbing the No. 90 ranking.  Meanwhile, the defense is making a name for itself.

James Harrison is still holding onto a top 100 spot, sitting at No. 99.  Ten spots up at No. 89, we find Carlos Dunlap, and then Leon Hall at No. 84.  Michael Johnson is the highest ranked player for Cincinnati so far, as he’s been ranked No. 66.

With all of the talent on the Bengals roster, we’re bound to see a few more names, and certainly Atkins and Green will be present soon.

Flying under the radar can have its advantages, but it’s nice to see the Bengals starters finally getting some of the attention that they deserve.
