Offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth is out tonight as the team hopes he’ll be ready in 8 days when the team heads to Chicago to open the season vs the Bears.Anthony Collins is expected to start for Whitworth against the Colts tonight.

Andre Smith is also out after he tweaked his knee against the Dallas Cowboys last week.

Seventh-rounder Reid Fragel out of Ohio State, who missed the first two games with a knee injury, isn’t expected to play.

Receiver Andrew Hawkins is walking around without a boot or cast on his injured ankle, but won’t be playing tonight.

Dre Kirkpatrick and Brandon Ghee aren’t expected to play as both players deal with “concussion-like” symptoms.

What to Watch For

According to NFL stats, fullbacks Orson Charles and John Conner played a total of six snaps Saturday night on offense. Look for more snaps for both players tonight as the Bengals decide whether to use the more versatile Charles, or the more bone-crunching Conner at FB this year.
