Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Michael Oher had full participation for a second straight day on Thursday. This, after he suffered what appeared to be a serious ankle injury during last Thursday’s loss to the Denver Broncos. It looked serious enough to knock him out for at least one week after couldn’t return to that game, but the extra two days of rest will likely enough to allow him to suit up Sunday vs the Cleveland Browns.
Although Oher is still limping slightly, he appears to be on track to play Sunday. Oher has never missed a game in his NFL career. He has played in 65 straight regular-season games, which is tied for the third-longest streak on the Ravens.
Defensive lineman Arthur Jones (illness) and backup running back Bernard Pierce (thigh) were limited again. Jones practiced yesterday after missing much of the preseason with an undisclosed illness, which also caused him to miss the regular-season opener. He’s now confident that the issues are behind him.
Jones had a breakout 2012 season with 47 tackles and 4 1/2 sacks.
