Bengals channel inner Muhammad Ali in overcoming Packers

Take away the quick 14-0 lead the Cincinnati Bengals had midway through the first-quarter, and it becomes evident the Green bay Packers were simply having their way with the mistake-prone Bengals, en-route to scoring 30-straight points to take a commanding lead that would have had most teams down for the count.

But not on this day for Cincinnati, who just the night before, had heard of a story of the great Muhammad Ali, who found himself in a similar position in an epic fight against Joe Frazier:

Not a bad call indeed. As many mistakes as this team tends to make, there will undoubtedly be more situations in the future where the Bengals find themselves down for the count. How they respond to adversity will ultimately decide how far they go this year, and if today’s any indicator, they’ve got plenty of fight in them.
