It wouldn’t be a normal week in Cincinnati without some kind of controversy happening. Even when the Bengals are coming off of a win, it seems as though there’s always some kind of negative news hit the team, but when you have a roster of 53 guys, such is life in the NFL.
Coming off of a season-altering win over the Green Bay Packers, the Bengals were riding as high as they’ve ever been in recent memory, but they were blindsided today when they learned starting cornerback Adam Jones was cited for disorderly conduct this morning, according to the Ohio State Patrol:
Lt. Anne Ralston said the driver of a 2013 Dodge Durango was pulled over on State Route 125, near Beechmont Avenue, around 2:30 a.m.
Jones was a passenger in the vehicle at the time.
Jones was arrested and cited with disorderly conduct.
The driver of the vehicle, Tishana Holmes, 33, was arrested and cited with DUI.
