Recapping the latest Adam Jones mishap

The Bengals made it known that they are fully aware of the situation, but as they always do in these situations, they will let the process play out before passing judgement:

 

Make no mistake about it: Jones is a key player on a defense that just shut-down the league’s besat offense, and much of that had to do with the play of Adam, according to defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer:

 

 

Because Jones falls under the NFL’s repeat offender classification, he could be subject to suspension by the NFL. It doesn’t help that Jones was already in trouble after he he was seen on camera striking a woman in Cincinnati this summer.

Expect to see Jones suspended eventually for being a repeat offender. With a court date of September 27th, two days prior to the team heading to the Cleveland to face the AFC North-rival Browns, don’t shocked to Jones not playing this week.
