The Pittsburgh Steelers are facing a must-win this week vs the Minnesota Vikings after starting the year 0-3, and the lack of a running game has been one of the biggest reasons they’re without a win through the first month of the NFL season.
Prior to this season, they went out and drafted Michigan state RB Le’Veon Bell, and immediately penciled him in as the No. 1 back.
After an impressive training camp, they believed he was prepared to be their feature back, but a Lisfranc injury has sidelined him for the past two months.
Now, with the team desperate for a win, Bell will make his NFL debut this week:
Huge news for Steelers, team is now planning to play RB Le’Veon Bell this week. Progressed faster than they thought.

With Felix Jones, Jonathan Dwyer & Isaac Redman all having failed to take hold of the No. 1 role, this is Bell’s job to lose going forward. Whether he’ll be enough to revive their season remains to be seen.
