One aspect that has been overlooked in Sunday’s comeback win against the Green Bay Packers was by the strength of cornerback Leon Hall’s coverage, as well as his crucial interception early in the fourth-quarter. The pick came with the Bengals trailing 30-21, and with the Packers in the redzone.
Part of that has to do with Hall not being on the field for the final defensive series after suffering a hamstring injury, but he did say after the game he expects to play vs the Cleveland Browns.
Joe Reedy has already called it something to monitor this week, and Marvin Lewis didn’t sound overly optimistic yesterday that Hall would play this week:
Marvin Lewis on Leon Hall: He’s got a sore hamstring. We’ll see how the weeks goes. Forecasted Hall for this week as “partly cloudy”.

This could be a huge loss vs the Browns, especially if Adam Jones doesn’t play if his latest mishap with the law causes him to also miss Sunday.
