“Where does Sunday’s win over the Packers rank among ever in during the Marvin Lewis-era?”

I think the Packers win ranks up there with the win that clinched the playoff berth in 2005. To me, this shows that the Bengals can put their big boy pants on and play with the big boys. The defense slowed down Rodgers, and were a long Jonathan Franklin run away from a sub-100 yard running game from the Pack. It goes to show how good these guys are.

They got more INTs than TDs allowed from Rodgers, which is super rare. Andy made a few mistakes, but looks better than he did last year. Sanu actually showed up for the first time this season, and Gio Bernard might just be the missing piece that this offense has needed.

Sundays win over the Green Bay Packers is definitely a top 5 game for Marvin Lewis. It had tons of excitement with many ups and downs, with a great outcome thanks to a Lewis challenge. This game, along with the 45-10 beat down of Chicago a few years back, Last years Bengals win over Pittsburgh to put them in the playoffs, are couple of top 5 games for the recently 55 year old Marvin Lewis. (Happy Birthday Marv!)
