The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off of a miraculous comeback-win over the Green Bay Packers, but the play that sparked the win may end up costing them a win this week vs the Cleveland Browns.
But after yesterday’s report that the team will likely be without Reggie Nelson and Leon Hall, it turns out the game-winning score on Sunday could actually leave their secondary depleted and even cost them a win:
Hall and Nelson pulled hamstrings on Newman fumble TD return. Kirkpatrick already down with hamstring. Crocker knows the system. #Bengals

Both players were injured during Terence Newman’s fumble-return touchdown late in the fourth-quarter that turned out to be the game-winning score, and if both players are out Sunday, it will be tough for the Bengals to overcome a resurgent Browns team that won at home vs Cincinnati last year.
If you ask Dave Lapham, he’d probably say it was worth it.
