“What player(s) have impressed you the most, and who needs to step-up their game in the coming weeks?”

Joe Johnson

There are a few players who have stood out to me, most notably, Gio Bernard, Andy Dalton and Tyler Eifert. Gio needs to be the starting RB. He is loads better than Green-Ellis and can do a lot more for this offense. He is a threat in both the running and passing game, as we have seen these past couple of weeks.

Eifert has impressed me with his hands, which I swear seem to be made of Gorilla Glue. Does he even know what a drop is? He has already made big plays, like that 61 yarder against the Steelers, and I expect him to break out sometime within the next couple of games.

As for Dalton, he has vastly improved from last year. He can connect on deep passes now. He has a fairly high completion percentage. He is well on his way to a 4,000 yard season at the rate he is going. This will be a career year for him.

Now, for the guys who need to step it up: Geno Atkins still has 0 sacks this year. He has been getting pressure, but needs to start hitting the QB.

BJGE needs to step it up as well. He has been under 30 rushing yards 2/3 times this year and has a fumble. He has 2 TD, but he gets tackled behind the line of scrimmage a lot more than Bernard does.
