The New England Patriots were able to overcome the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome last night, but they may have suffered a huge loss after defensive tackle Vince Wilfork walked off the field with what appeared to be a n ankle injury, and has since been carted back into the locker-room:
Not good — Vince Wilfork on the cart. Outside of Brady, no one the Patriots can more ill afford to lose.

NBC Sideline Reporter Michele Tafoya later reported that Wilfork and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady spoke on the sideline, and the word regarding the injury, which she called an ankle injury, was not positive. Wilfork was eventually ruled-out of the game prior to the second-half beginning, at which point the game was still in doubt with both teams tied at 10.
In my experience, this is not a good sign RT @Patriots: Patriots Injury Update: Vince Wilfork has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

Wilfork has played every game since the start of the 2010 season and has missed just six games in his 10-year career.
