ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday that Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga sprained his MCL on Sunday and is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks. But the team has yet to rule him out for Thursday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, even though they’ve already ruled out safety Taylor Mays.
But the fact that Maualuga is on crutches right now and barely limping through the locker room enforces the belief he’ll be out at least until the team returns from it’s bye week in Week 13:
Maualuga on crutches in locker room. When asked how he’s doing he said “I’ve seen better days.” #Bengals

The sight of Rey Maualuga slowly limping through locker room on crutches is all the confirmation you need to know that he’s out for a bit
