The Bengals looked like they were going to be able to burn up some clock with nice runs by Green-Ellis and Bernard. Bernard also made a nice catch to help out Dalton who was under heavy pressure.
But on the next play, Bernard would cough up the ball and the Patriots would recover around the Bengals 45-yard line.
Again, Brady and the Patriots offense had trouble with the Bengals D as they followed up two incomplete passes with a sack by Crocker, forcing them to punt.
The Patriots would get the ball back again with 2 minutes to go after burning some timeouts and holding the Bengal run game.
But as the rain started to pour, Brady threw incomplete pass after incomplete pass, eventually throwing an interception to Adam Jones with 16 seconds to go.
The Bengals were able to kneel the ball and come away with the 13-6 win over New England.
