* It really says something when Marvin Lewis and Mike Zimmer are willing to give a rookie in Margus Hunt more snaps than James Harrison. With the recent injuries at DE leaving them with just three DEs entering Sunday, Harrison figured to get at least a few snaps at DE, but instead, they gave Hunt every non-starter snap there was. ONe has to wonder if/when Harrison will start to get onto the field more consistently in some role.

* Thompson and Still continue to battle it out for playing time at DT, and both players have showed flashes of becoming good rotational tackles.

* Crocker was on the field 83% of the time after signing with the team just a week ago. Until this guy retires, I’ll never rule him out as an option for a Mike Zimmer defense.
