The Cincinnati Bengals have announced the addition of defensive end Kendrick Adams to the practice squad.

Per Bengals Public Relations:

The Bengals today signed DE Kendrick Adams to the practice squad. Adams (6-5, 252; Louisiana State) is a first-year NFL player. He opened 2013 with Cleveland and played in the Browns’ first three preseason games, with eight tackles, before being waived on Aug. 27. He entered the NFL in May of 2012 as a college free agent with Jacksonville, and during the ’12 season he spent time on the Tampa Bay, Detroit and Cleveland practice squads.

The former LSU Tigers pass-rusher has bounced around the league over the past two seasons, and hopefully he can latch on with the Bengals and defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, who’s routinely taken seldom-used defensive lineman and make them look like quality NFL players.

The Bengals had an open practice squad spot to fill, and given their thin DE rotation, it made since to add another body there.
