Overall the Bengals defense left much to be desired, not forcing a sack or a turnover against a quarterback in Matthew Stafford who averages 50 pass attempts per game. Luckily, Vontaze Burfict is continuing his tackling terror, recording 13 more tackles and 74 on the year, Burfict kept Reggie Bush in check and made him a virtual non-factor.

The bottom line is, the Cincinnati Bengals found a way to win, and rode the arm of Andy Dalton along the way, while he completed 24 of 34 for 372 yards and 3 touchdowns, and since the horrible performance vs. the Cleveland Browns, Dalton has gone 70-101 for 921 yards, 6 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, with a QB rating of 109.4.

With him playing this well, and with a defense that has flashes of greatness, and the Cincinnati Bengals are going to win a lot of games this season. Sure there are things they need to work on, but 5-2 and atop the AFC North is a great place to be, going into the midway point of the 2013 NFL season.
